Mahatma Gandhi Institute of Technology [MGIT], affiliated to JNTU, was established by Chaitanya Bharati Educational Society [CBES] in 1997 in a serene and tranquil environment at Gandipet, Hyderabad. The college has 113 highly qualified and dedicated faculty members and 113 committed staff. MGIT is a pioneer technological institute in the state-of-the-art infrastructure coupled with dedicated faculty and staff.

 

                                    The electrical and electronics department stepped into MGIT in 2001-2002. This branch has been training to gain knowledge about the design of electrical equipments, which play vital role in day-to-day life. The well equipped faculty with the aid of 7 well equipped laboratories has been imparting valuable theoretical along with the practical knowledge to the future engineers. All these have led the students to make significant strides in all the facets of curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.

 

                                    The department of technical association, “Electrical Engineers Technical Association” along with IEEE has been organizing the two day National Level Technical Symposium under the name POTENZIA. Last year the fest received about 285 papers and 585 students from all over the state participated in the event, making it a huge success.
